Valentino Ribecco

Head Master, 7 Dan Black Belt

Valentino began training in Traditional Hapkido in 1983 with Grand Master Ki C. Yoon — who was taught by the founder of Hapkido, Grand Master Choi Youg Sul. Numerous hours of hard work earned him his 1st Degree Black belt at the age of 16. Master Valentino is a certified Hap Ki Do and Hap Ki Moo Do Instructor, and holds a 7 Dan Head Master rank as recognized by the Korean Kum Moo Hapkido Association. Valentino is the founder of his unique Hap Ki Do teaching system and currently offers classes & workshops in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Valentino has been a fitness, flexibility and yoga enthusiast since the mid 80’s and earned a A.F.L.C.A Specialty Fitness Leader certification in 1996 and a 100 hour Yoga teacher certification in 2013. He was also a professional entertainer, dancer and Stunt performer that worked internationally between 1988 - 2008.

Valentino has taught countless students and athletes within Calgary and around the world and specializes in the physical disciplines of:

Master Valentino has a tireless commitment to the advancement of Martial Arts, and has won numerous awards for his teaching style. He emphasizes the importance of balance with the physical, mental and spiritual aspects found in Traditional Martial Arts to help guide students to a strong, healthy, focused and enlightened way of life.
